Royate Hill
Our newest site – having goats on it since August 2020, is part of The Royate Hill Nature Reserve and sited on The Royate Hill Allotments.

The site takes advantage of the old viaduct that runs through the reserve and provides a dry haven for the goats and the milking parlour.
The goats are milked twice a day, with them often being taken across the road to graze on a further hillside and brought back in the evenings.
The goats are a key part in the nature reserve’s management plan for increasing the biodiversity of the area.
Want to become a milker?
We would love to hear from you! We are generally always on the look out for wannabe goat farmers and offer you the opportunity to learn about animal husbandry as well as get fresh milk to take home with you.
